Points to Remember When bringing your child to childcare

• Tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance. Full rate is due whether attending none or all 5 days of any given week. If tuition is not paid by 9:00am on or before the 1st of the month, you will be charged a $25.00 late tuition fee at 9:01am every day including weekends until all fees are paid in full. If fees are outstanding your child(ren) will not be accepted at childcare. until all fees (including late tuition fees) are paid in full. On or before the first means, if the first is on a Saturday, Sunday or a holiday you must pay on the Friday before the 1st. If tuition is paid 3 or more times late your child will be terminated from the program. Please pay by EMT to sweetfeetchildcare@hotmail.com

• No Diaper bags, backpacks, candy, food or drinks will be allowed. if your child is eating please wait until they are finished and have been cleaned up before entering.

• Each child must have a complete change of seasonal clothing (no onesies, or button up pants) including well-fitting running shoes (no open toed shoes, no loose fitting shoes, ETC.) socks, a month supply of diapers, wipes and diaper rash cream, in sunny months they should have a hat, sunglasses and a supply of sunscreen and bug spray. In colder months they should have a toque, warm gloves and a snow suit kept at the center.  

• Early drop-off/Late pick-up fees - $10 per child for the first 5 minutes or less, and $25 per child for every additional 10 minutes or less thereafter, will be charged to any family who has not collected their child(ren) from the center by their scheduled pick-up time or drop-off before their scheduled drop-off time. Late fees are due at or before drop-off the following day or care will not be provided.  

• All children must be dropped off no later than 30 minutes from their scheduled drop-off time. Any child 30 minutes late will not be given care for that day. 

• I understand that emergencies arise. I also understand that traffic (weather, etc.) can be challenging or hectic. However, I expect all children to be picked up on time. Any issues do not excuse the late fee that will be charged. When you are late, I am required to remain working, therefore, unable to keep my commitments.  

• Drop-off / pick-up should be brief (5-10 minutes) No lingering or allowing you child to play. 

• Do not send sick children to childcare. Return to care will be allowed after 48hrs, symptom free, without fever reducing medications.  

• If a child is sent home sick from childcare the minimum exclusion will be 48hrs and 24hrs symptom free, without fever reducing medications. 

• Knowingly giving a sick child medication before dropping off to childcare in an attempt to mask symptoms will result in immediate termination of childcare.
